I would like to take the time to say thank you for all that participated in this year’s NSFA annual fire training conference in Ely, Nevada. Your participation made this conference the success it was.
I would like to recognize the support and hard work that all of the Ely Firefighters and their families put into making this conference run smoothly, from registration and check-in, through the ghost train and trap shooting, all the way to Saturday night’s banquet. I especially want to thank the cooks for the exceptional food that they provided throughout the week.
As always, a big thanks to all of our vendors for not only supporting the NSFA and our training conference but for supporting all the firefighters in our great state of Nevada. We wouldn’t be able to keep all of our firefighters nearly as safe as they are without the gear and tools provided by you to keep us to the safety standards expected of public safety organizations.
We are extremely excited to announce that the 84th annual training conference will be held in Laughlin, with the Edge Water and Colorado Belle as the Host hotels. We have already begun looking at all of the great opportunities for success in Laughlin from the training spaces to the numerous recreational activities for any downtime you or your guests may have. We look forward to seeing each and every one of you at next year’s conference in Laughlin and remember to keep an eye out for more information about next year’s training activities, hotel accommodations, and recreational activities.
